How Does The OFPL Seed Library Work?
Our library will establish, grow, and curate a depository of seeds available to all Octavia Fellin Public Library card holders at no additional cost.
Neighbors with an OFPL library card can come into the Main Library and check out up to 10 seed packets every year, including no more than two (2) packets of any one variety.
You will find our seeds in three different categories:
All seeds are housed in our black card catalog within the Southwest room in the Main Library. Vegetables are placed in alphabetical order in accordance to its common name, i.e. Carrots in "C" and Tomatoes in "T." Flowers and Herbs are labeled under F and H within the card catalog container.
